Privacy
The Windows app is built around a simple privacy model: react to input events, play local sounds, and keep typed content out of scope.
Clack listens for physical key and mouse button events so it can play the matching sound. It uses key and button identifiers, not the text that appears in your apps.
Sound packs, volume, tone, favorites, visualizer settings, and startup preference are stored locally in your Windows app data folder.
The playground keeps one anonymous aggregate count of key presses and clicks. It stores the number of interactions, not the words you type or a personal identifier.
The website may use Cloudflare Web Analytics for privacy-preserving page-view metrics. Clack does not add cookies, ad pixels, session replay, or fingerprinting.
The Windows app does not include app analytics or background telemetry, and the website avoids cookies and tracking identifiers.
